2016 Joan's 80th

The party got planned.

Theme: design a hat to wear

Figured out how to get her there,

but the biggest issue was:

How to keep it a SECRET...Oh, boy!

We succeeded.

Joan showed up in her casual clothes, including her slippers, expecting a phone call.

Millicent had designed her hat and when she put it on her, Joan smiled.
